Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency's East Region seeks a Business Development Specialist to drive new business leads and outbound sales strategies. The role focuses on market research, prospecting campaigns, and coordinating with Sales Producers to secure opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and ability to manage time-sensitive follow-up with prospects. Hybrid work is available in Conshohocken, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in business-to-business sales or outbound sales environments preferred.
• Active Life and Health License preferred; if not licensed, obtain within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales strategy to generate new business leads with Sales Producers.
• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to drive qualified leads and appointments.
• Uncover new sales opportunities by networking to increase contacts.
• Represent and sell MMA East’s capabilities for trade show events.
• Track budget-to-actual on sold clients during quarterly and year-end reviews.
• Travel to conferences throughout the year with Producers.
• Maintain prospect spreadsheets and activity logs for weekly meetings.
