Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Employment Litigation practice in Boston. This hybrid role focuses on representing employers in sophisticated disputes while collaborating with clients on risk management and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an accredited school, MA Bar admission, and 3–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience, including depositions and drafting pleadings. Large firm or boutique experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing.
• 3-7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling employment-related disputes incl. discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage/hour issues.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial and hearing preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Advise employers on employment law compliance and workplace risk management issues.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s labor and employment practice on complex matters.
• Manage case files and litigation deadlines from inception through resolution.
