Eden Capital Careers is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York. The role focuses on wage and hour litigation and counseling for a diverse client base within a nationally recognized firm.

Hybrid work arrangements provide flexibility while preserving client service excellence. The candidate should have a JD from a top-tier law school, NY Bar admission, 5–7 years of employment law experience, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• Active New York Bar in good standing.
• 5–7 years of employment law experience with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling.
• Experience advising employers on federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
• Experience handling complex wage and hour matters including class, collective, and representative actions.
• Experience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenants.
• Experience preparing and negotiating employment agreements including executive compensation provisions.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven technologies to improve efficiency, client service, and the quality of legal work products.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise employers on workplace law issues including employee relations, compliance, and risk management.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation provisions.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Apply AI-driven and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, client service, and legal work product.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs.
