Qualified candidates have a JD with strong academics, MA bar admission, 3–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience, and proven skills in pleadings, depositions, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• JD with strong academic record
• Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
• 3–7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience
• Experience handling employment-related disputes (discrimination, harassment, termination, wage/hour)
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses
• Depositions experience
• State/federal court and arbitration appearances
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Excellent legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy
• Experience advising management on employment law compliance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, admin proceedings, and arbitration
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial/hearing prep
• Develop litigation strategy with clients for favorable outcomes
• Advise on employment law compliance and risk management
• Collaborate with firm attorneys on complex matters
• Manage case files and deadlines from inception to resolution
