Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Resource Manager within the Architectural Department of the Data Center Performance Unit. You will optimize staffing, forecast needs, support recruitment and onboarding, and provide operational support for project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will partner with leadership, Sector Managers and HR to ensure staffing aligns with pipeline and skill requirements. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related business field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in architecture, operations/resource management or related area.
• Experience with work plans and staffing assignments.
• Strong scheduling, resourcing and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Discretion with confidential personnel, budget and client information.

Responsibilities

• Track staffing, utilization and LOE; maintain allocation system and deliverables.
• Lead staffing efforts with Sector Managers and Department Leadership.
• Coordinate staffing with other departments and units; forecast workload.
• Identify gaps and advise Department Leadership; prepare operational reports.
• Manage staff records and onboarding processes; coordinate new hires with HR.
• Support proposal development; define LOE hours and staffing needs.
• Organize onboarding and ensure office access and badging.
• Review timesheets for direct/indirect reports; liaison with central support teams.
• Assist with reciprocity processes to obtain architectural licenses in other states.
• Organize monthly department staff meetings with Leadership.
