Job summary

Jobot, a growing software company in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. The role will oversee customer billing and collections, maintain accurate records, and work cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve cash flow.

The AR specialist will manage invoicing, aging analyses, and month-end close activities, collaborating with Sales and Customer Success to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related role.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• SaaS, software, or technology industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR activity including invoicing, payment processing, collections, refunds, and adjustments.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances via phone and email.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success to ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare AR reporting and communicate trends and issues to management.
• Support month-end and year-end close for AR and revenue.
• Ensure billing aligns with policies and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide professional, responsive customer service on billing matters.
