Aston Carter in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our finance operations. You will work with a mix of modern client portals and legacy systems to ensure accurate payments and properly maintained accounts.

The role requires focus, the ability to handle repetitive tasks, and willingness to adapt to evolving workflows. The position is contract-to-hire, hybrid in Saint Louis, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting function.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, including cash application and invoice management.
• Comfort working with outdated systems and manual processes as well as modern digital portals.
• Excellent attention to detail to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, payments, and follow-ups.

Mansioni

• Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner across multiple systems.
• Manage client accounts using both digital portals and manual, legacy platforms.
• Monitor aging reports to identify overdue balances and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Handle credit and re-bill activities, including issuing adjustments and re-invoicing when necessary.
• Communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and promptly resolve account issues.
• Support continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes as ERP implementations occur.
