Job summary

Vaisala Inc. in Burlington, MA is seeking an Application Sales Engineer to join our Industrial Measurements sales team.

You will work with outside sales, product management, and marketing to drive revenue growth by delivering solutions across industries and applications. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 3–5+ years of technical sales, fluent English, strong communication, and CRM experience (Salesforce or SAP).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
3-5+ years of technical sales or related industry experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and Office Suite.
English fluency; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Support internal/external technical questions and propose solutions via video, phone, email, chat.
Provide technical expertise on humidity, CO2, dew point, peroxide, and barometric pressure.
Understand customer industries to identify opportunities for outside sales.
Travel to support presentations, trade shows, and customer needs.
Conduct market research and analysis.
Attend technical conferences, webinars, and related events.
Collaborate with marketing and product to create docs and resources.
Develop webinars and training presentations for customers and partners.
Input customer data and daily activity in CRM tools.
