Job summary

CRH Americas Materials is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Shared Services team in a hybrid role. You will process invoices, resolve queries, and support procure-to-pay activities in a SOX-controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AP experience in a Shared Services setting and strong SAP knowledge, enabling accurate vendor payments and effective accounts reconciliation across business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance or business.
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a Shared Services environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP in a shared services setting.
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service and improving transactional processes.

Responsibilities

• Sustain a culture of continuous improvement to deliver effective AP processes.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly AP tasks with accuracy and SOX controls.
• Correspond with vendors and internal stakeholders and respond to escalations.
• Process invoices, reconcile statements, and run payments with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify root causes of issues and recommend system/process improvements.
