CRH plc Americas Materials is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Shared Services. This role handles invoice processing, vendor queries, and continuous improvement in a high-volume, SOX-controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years AP experience in shared services, strong English communication, and proficiency with SAP. Hybrid work options are available, with some in-office presence required in Alpharetta, GA.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable in Shared Services.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP in Shared Services.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service.
• Familiarity with designing and standardizing transactional processes.
• Working knowledge of building products/construction industry practices preferred.
• Ability to navigate competing priorities and maintain a collaborative culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Proven skills in process improvement and technology-enabled efficiencies.
• Ability to prioritize and provide clarity.
• Hybrid role with flexible work options, requiring some in-person presence.
• Normal office working conditions with a quiet noise level.
• Able to communicate by telephone and in person.
• Able to use a computer for word processing, email communication, and document preparation.
• May require sitting for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Sustain a culture of continuous improvement to improve AP processes.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly AP tasks with high accuracy and in compliance.
• Correspond with vendors and internal stakeholders; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Complete invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliation or payment runs with accuracy.
• Identify root causes and provide feedback for systems improvements.
• Operate in a high-volume, SOX-controlled environment; support auditors.
• Demonstrate commitment to outstanding customer experience.
• Support AP Processing Supervisor/Manager to meet business needs.
• Provide insights on AP policies and procedures.
• Complete AP reporting on invoices, processing, payments, and exceptions.
• Influence and negotiate with a wide range of audiences.
