Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in San Diego, CA for a hybrid role (in-office Tuesdays, remote 4 days/week). The ideal candidate will handle full-cycle AP, reconcile invoices, and maintain vendor records with accuracy.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, approvals, month-end close support, and ensuring timely payments in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven AP environment.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions from invoice receipt to payment.
• Manage a high volume of payments via wires, checks and electronic transfers.
• Review, verify and reconcile vendor invoices and payment records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure invoices are coded and approved per policy.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with month-end close and AP reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve AP issues promptly.
