Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Airport Lounge Design Manager in Chicago to lead design and documentation for new and renovated airport lounges. You will coordinate with Business Development, Guest Experience, and Project Delivery teams to ensure consistent customer experiences across branded environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design required.
• At least 7 years interior design or architecture experience within hospitality.
• At least 7 years experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp & Adobe Creative Suite.
• At least 5 years of vendor management or relationship management.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing architecture materials/finishes and FF&E.

Responsibilities

• Design and management of Airport Lounge business development opportunities, including ownership of the initial design phase, collaboration and management of outside design and technical firms, and management of the RFP process.
• Lead design pipeline for assigned projects by managing the design phase, architectural partners, and external consultants to achieve goals; manage feasibility through opening and budget goals.
• Drive cross-functional projects, ensure deliverables meet scope, timelines, and budget; mitigate risks and escalate when needed.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills with stakeholders across levels.
• Prioritize and oversee multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with customers to drive project delivery and strategic thought partnership.
• Forge relationships to ensure delivery of commitments.
