Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Manager, Airport Lounge Construction (New Builds) to lead end-to-end delivery of ground-up lounges and major expansions. You will coordinate with design, operations, finance, and guest experience teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive projects to occupancy while adhering to Capital One's hybrid policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 6+ years of construction PM experience in hospitality, retail, or aviation.
• 5+ years managing on-site General Contractors, sub-trades, and AIA contracts.
• 3+ years partnering with architects, designers, contractors, and operators.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and CapEx budgets for assigned new-build locations through the Construction Documentation and Construction Administration phases.
• Drive projects to Substantial Completion and Certificate of Occupancy, with handover to Guest Experience and Special Projects teams.
• Execute project-level compliance with procurement models and AIA GMP contracts per program guidance.
• Track change orders, maintain daily budget adherence, and escalate financial closeouts for approval.
• Compile project data and metrics for portfolio reporting and MBRs.
• Oversee construction management activities, identify risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
