Qualifications

• 2+ years of air export freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of the international air freight export process.
• Experience managing air export shipments from booking through departure.
• Knowledge of airline booking, documentation, AES filing and export procedures.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage air export shipments from A-Z, ensuring timely and accurate movement of freight.
• Coordinate bookings, space, routing and flight schedules with airlines and carriers.
• Liaise with overseas agents, customers, truckers, warehouses and other service providers.
• Prepare and review air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists and export documentation.
• Complete AES filings and ensure all required export documentation is accurate.
• Monitor shipment status, departure schedules and delivery milestones.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate updates to customers and overseas partners.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery arrangements with trucking companies and warehouses.
• Obtain and negotiate rates with airlines, truckers and other service providers when required.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information within the company's operating system.
• Resolve delays, discrepancies and operational issues quickly and efficiently.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable export regulations.
• Assist with invoicing, billing and other administrative requirements.
