Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking an experienced GTO AI Delivery Lead to own strategic delivery for complex, cross-functional programs. You will coordinate IT delivery, underwriting, claims, and external vendors, acting as the bridge between business and technology leadership.

The role requires a decade in delivery leadership, strong insurance domain knowledge, and a solid Agile background. Hybrid work with travel to NY/PA sites is available as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project/program/delivery leadership across cross-functional IT programs.
• 3–5 years specifically in Insurance or Group Insurance.
• Strong understanding of the Group insurance policy lifecycle and underwriting workflows.
• Familiar with SDLC concepts, release management, and integration dependencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Fluent in Agile/Scrum with ability to select framework for initiatives.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM/SAFe or insurance-specific designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated delivery strategies for complex cross-functional programs.
• Drive end-to-end delivery from kickoff through post-launch stabilization.
• Lead multiple delivery teams and external vendors, coordinating across IT and business.
• Synthesize status updates into a decision-ready narrative for PMO and executives.
• Partner with PMO within RAID, governance, and portfolio prioritization.
• Translate technical constraints into business terms and vice versa; mitigate risks proactively.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior GTO and group leadership.
