Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead within the Group Transformation Office to orchestrate large, cross-functional technology initiatives.

You will own delivery strategy, drive enterprise-wide programs across IT, underwriting, claims, and external vendors, and serve as the go-to advisor for senior leadership. The role demands 10+ years in delivery leadership, strong insurance domain knowledge, and Agile/Scrum fluency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project/program/delivery leadership within technology.
• 3–5 years in Insurance or Group Insurance.
• Strong understanding of the Group insurance policy lifecycle, underwriting workflows, claims processing, or group benefits administration.
• Fluent in Agile/Scrum with the judgment to choose the right framework.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed in Education.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM/SAFe preferred.
• Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of integrated delivery strategies for complex, cross-functional programs.
• Drive end-to-end delivery from kickoff through implementation and post-launch stabilization.
• Lead complex technology programs with multiple functions and external vendors.
• Synthesize status updates into a clear, executive-ready narrative for PMO and leaders.
• Operate within PMO governance, RAID logs, reviews, and portfolio prioritization.
• Bridge IT and business units, translating constraints into business terms and vice versa.
• Identify risks early and propose concrete mitigation options with clear resolution paths.
• Define realistic, technically grounded roadmaps and milestones; track velocity and KPIs.
• Influence senior leaders on program investments and delivery trade-offs.
