Qualifications

• Nine years of software engineering experience with strong Python backend focus
• Experience delivering AI-enabled backend systems with secure data handling
• Experience designing enterprise APIs and microservices with robust testing

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based components for the agentic platform
• Deploy and manage workloads in Kubernetes clusters
• Build MCP servers and a library of reusable AI skills
• Collaborate with teams to expose Java APIs to AI agents
• Implement enterprise AI guardrails and data privacy safeguards
• Mentor engineers and lead teams in a hybrid environment
• Travel/onsite presence as required at Columbia, MD office
