Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer focused on AI Integration in Columbia, MD. The role centers on designing, developing, and deploying the agentic platform for the Data Lake tool, with emphasis on Python-based components and Kubernetes orchestration.

You will build MCP servers, AI skills, and safety guardrails, coordinating with teams to expose APIs to AI agents while advancing enterprise AI capabilities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Nine years of software engineering experience with strong Python backend development.
• Seven years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree, or 13 years with a HS diploma.
• Experience leading engineering teams or serving as a tech lead.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based components for our core agentic platform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Build MCP servers and a library of reusable skills for safe AI interactions with internal systems.
• Collaborate to expose Java-based APIs to AI agents.
• Implement enterprise AI guardrails for data privacy and prompt defense.
• Maintain testing pipelines for non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams.
