Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Columbia, MD is seeking a Software Engineer focused on AI Integration. You will design, develop, and implement the agentic platform for our proprietary Data Lake tool, JCRSD, with emphasis on Python-based components and strong container orchestration in Kubernetes.

This role focuses on integrating LLM capabilities, building MCP servers and reusable AI skills, exposing internal APIs to agents, and enforcing enterprise-grade guardrails and security.

Qualifications

• Five years of Software Engineering experience with strong Python backend skills and a related Bachelor's degree, or three years with a Master's, or nine years with a high school diploma.
• Experience designing enterprise APIs, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based components for our core agentic platform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications within Kubernetes (K8s).
• Build MCP servers and a library of reusable AI skills for safe interactions with internal databases and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expose Java-based APIs to AI agents.
• Implement enterprise AI guardrails for data privacy, scrub, prompt injection defenses, and output validation.
• Maintain strong testing practices and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
