Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an agile Compliance Data & Analytics Manager to join the Compliance Data & Analytics group within the Legal department.

You will design and prototype AI-powered compliance solutions, bridging between legal experts and data teams. You will partner with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to bring disparate data sources into unified analytics workflows, building dashboards and alerting systems in Python/SQL.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, data science, or analytics product development, with a proven track record of rapid prototyping and applying data analytics and AI to Legal, Compliance, Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Internal Audit, or Fraud/Risk Management domains.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL and experience with modern data science libraries.
• Experience using AI to build practical applications.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, break through data silos, and deliver results collaboratively through influence without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, experiment with, and deploy rapid AI and automation prototypes.
• Partner across Legal, Finance, and other key stakeholders to identify, extract, and integrate disparate data sources into unified analytics workflows.
• Develop agile data scripts, lightweight web applications, and automated alert workflows in Python/SQL that solve compliance friction points.
• Collaborate directly with Regulatory & Compliance leadership to distill complex regulatory risks into structured analytical problem statements and working prototypes.
• Partner with data science and business intelligence developers to improve upon existing risk models by integrating external market intelligence and automated event-driven/ conditional logic.
