Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to lead development teams within the OneTeam delivery model, guiding end-to-end health, delivery, and continuous improvement of EHS and IT Services applications.

You will work with Delivery Leaders, Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to align efforts with enterprise priorities, drive efficient delivery, and scale applications for evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in software/application development.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Application Development team operations for EHS and IT Services.
• Align application development with organizational goals and long-term innovation.
• Design, implement, and deploy software applications and systems for business processes.
• Ensure performance meets evolving requirements and conduct regular improvements.
• Lead process improvements to optimize development initiatives and outcomes.
• Provide expert technical support to end-users and team members.
• Promote collaboration across development, operations, and business teams.
