Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in the United States seeks an AI Adoption & Governance Manager to lead adoption, governance, and staff training for enterprise AI tools including Copilot and Claude. You will partner with IT leadership to ensure safe, productive use while complying with firm policy.

Within this role, you’ll manage licensing, provisioning, and cost tracking, build a champions network across offices, and drive AI-enabled workflows in engineering and design software, reporting to the Director of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in IT support, systems administration or digital enablement with adoption outcomes.
• Hands-on administration of enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Claude) and M365 tools.
• Knowledge of LLM concepts, data privacy and AI risk frameworks (NIST RMF).
• Strong training and communication skills for non-technical staff.
• Thrives in a fast-changing environment with adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI tools support model: intake, triage, escalation, knowledge base and SLAs.
• Administer AI platforms: licensing, provisioning, connectors and cost tracking.
• Approve AI tools, pilots and configurations within firm policy.
• Lead adoption and training: onboarding, libraries, office hours and champions network.
• Partner with Design Technology on AI in engineering workflows (BIM/CAD, GIS).
• Monitor AI tools and features; adapt governance and guidance as tools evolve.
• Uphold AI governance: data classification, vendor reviews, records retention.
• Report to IT leadership on usage, risks and opportunities; mentor staff.
