Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an AI Adoption & Governance Manager to lead adoption, governance and day-to-day support of enterprise AI tools such as Copilot and Claude across the firm. You will collaborate with IT leadership and Design Technology to integrate AI into engineering workflows and ensure safe, policy-compliant usage.

The role reports to the Director of Information Technology and requires strong leadership, rapid prioritization and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/Engineering.
7+ years in IT support, systems administration or digital enablement with leadership experience.
Hands-on administration of enterprise AI platforms (Copilot/Claude) and M365 tools.

Responsibilities

Own the support model for enterprise AI tools: intake, triage, escalation paths, knowledge base and service levels.
Administer AI platforms: licensing, provisioning, connectors and integrations, usage monitoring and cost tracking.
Approve AI tools, pilots, integrations and configuration changes within firm policy.
Run adoption and training: onboarding sessions, prompt libraries, office hours and a champions network.
Partner with Design Technology on AI in engineering workflows and evaluating new tools.
Monitor AI tools and adapt the support model as technology evolves.
Uphold AI governance: policy, data classification, vendor reviews, records retention.
Collect use cases, pilot automations delivering value to project teams.
Report to IT leadership on usage, risks and opportunities.
Supervise or mentor AI support analysts; coordinate with vendors.
