Job summary
State of Indiana seeks an experienced PMO Leader to drive IT project management and business analysis within the enterprise software development and innovation IT department. You will shape the PMO strategy, establish an operating model, and align roles for analysts, product owners and project managers.
The role requires 10+ years in PMO leadership, strong governance across Agile/SAFe/waterfall, and the ability to persuade executives while training staff in best practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years leading PMO or large IT programs.
- Experience establishing or transforming a PMO.
- Experience across Agile, SAFe, waterfall and hybrid environments.
- Ability to advise senior executives and manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, project management, or a related field; certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define PMO strategy and operating model.
- Lead enterprise IT project management and business analysis groups.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers.
- Ensure quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
