The ideal candidate has 10+ years of enterprise PMO experience and can work across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methods while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional project management experience.
• Experience managing complex enterprise projects from initiation through closure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Familiar with PMI PMBOK Guide and Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large, complex projects through the full lifecycle.
• Define and manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans using appropriate methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Build, organize, lead, and manage cross-functional project teams.
• Coordinate activities among stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical teams, business teams, vendors, and third parties.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and blockers and escalate when needed.
• Develop and maintain project status reports for stakeholders and PMO dashboards.
• Track and report key project metrics used within PMO dashboards.
• Manage change requests and formal change management practices.
• Forecast resources and coordinate allocation to meet objectives.
• Monitor budgets and ensure alignment with financial parameters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, and governance requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
• Facilitate contract-related processes from initiation to closure.
• Conduct gap and root-cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop recovery strategies for successful outcomes.
• Lead meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions for decisions and issue resolution.
• Lead facilitation with independent third parties when required.
• Manage implementation activities and transition to production or operations.
• Perform formal project closure activities and capture lessons learned.
