Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Scrum Master who serves as an Agile coach focused on establishing value stream effectiveness and Kanban‑driven delivery. The role prioritizes how work flows, not scope or budget, and aims to improve cycle time and predictability within a value stream.

The Scrum Master will remove impediments, foster collaboration, and align teams with value-driven priorities. This position supports a hybrid work arrangement across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications such as PSM I/II, CSM/A-CSM/Kanban or SAFe Scrum Master are preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience coordinating across teams or scaled delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team and value stream ceremonies; adapt practices to support delivery.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect flow and delivery.
• Foster transparency, collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety.
• Enable effective work intake, refinement, and prioritization with TPMs and QA Leads.
• Shield teams from unnecessary disruption while engaging stakeholders.
• Track Agile metrics to support learning and improvement.
• Coordinate across teams to reduce dependencies and improve end-to-end delivery.
• Partner with other Scrum Masters, TPMs, QA Leads, coaches, and leadership.
