Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Scrum Master to act as a servant‑leader and Agile coach, establishing team and value stream effectiveness and using Kanban principles to improve delivery speed and value realization. You will focus on how work flows, not on scope or budget, and remove impediments to optimize collaboration within the value stream.

The role emphasizes improving delivery flow, managing WIP, and ensuring alignment with value-driven priorities. Hybrid work across U.S.

Qualifications

Requires Scrum/Agile understanding and practical coaching experience.
Proven ability to lead without formal authority through influence.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience fostering continuous improvement and team maturity in complex environments.

Responsibilities

Facilitate team and value stream ceremonies and adapt practices for successful delivery.
Identify and remove impediments affecting team or value stream flow.
Foster transparency, collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety.
Enable effective work intake, refinement, and prioritization with TPMs and QA Leads, aligned to value-driven outcomes.
Shield teams from unnecessary disruption while promoting stakeholder engagement.
Track Agile metrics to support learning and improvement, not performance scoring.
Coordinate across teams to improve end‑to‑end delivery and reduce dependencies.
Partner with other Scrum Masters, TPMs, QA Leads, coaches, and leadership to broaden Agile adoption.
