Job summary

AMBA is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our Client Delivery Team in an agile, team-oriented environment. You will bridge the client, business, and IT sides to implement system enhancements and online tools, documenting requirements and communicating them to stakeholders.

The role focuses on analysis, testing, reporting, and collaboration across carriers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver smooth deployments and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience and prior business analyst experience preferred.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Experience facilitating meetings and requirements sessions with stakeholders to document high-quality requirements.
• MS SQL experience (queries, functions, reports) is a plus.
• Experience performing UAT, Regression/Stress testing for system enhancements.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the desire for continuous improvement.
• Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation.
• Provides client management system and website production issue research and support, including managing any clean-up required for customer files.
• Identifies, verifies, and documents functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools.
• Evaluates, troubleshoots, and analyzes business requests and submits requirements through JIRA.
• Manages the testing, communication, and documentation throughout development and production rollout.
• Develops reports through SQL scripts, analyzes data, and delivers reports through proper distribution channels.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline our processes, provide viable options for enhancements, and isolate the risks associated with them.
• Responsible for client management system and website testing, regression/sanity testing and/or UAT for all system enhancements, server moves, production issues, connectivity issues, etc.
• Assists with development and delivery of training and supplemental materials for new processes and clean-up projects.
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of system rating, solicitation, and policy issuance.
