OCC is seeking a driven senior business analyst to partner with business and technology teams to analyze information from diverse sources and deliver value. You will craft user stories, perform requirements and data flow analyses, and support test planning in a cross-functional, agile environment.

The role emphasizes communication across all levels, with hybrid work in Chicago and a strong focus on process modelling and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business system analysis or related experience.
• Experience in Agile and software development
• Knowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis best practices
• Experience with tools like Confluence and Jira
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• MBA/MS degree preferred
• CCBA/CBAP or related certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as a partner to both business and technology teams
• Identify scope gaps and missing requirements by understanding current and future state
• Identify product team dependencies and plan for resolution
• Work cross-functionally to analyze key stakeholder business needs
• Perform requirements analysis, story decomposition, system integration analysis, and data flow design
• Engage in agile activities including sprint planning and backlog grooming
• AdviseProduct owner regarding next steps and approvals
• Build high quality user stories and acceptance criteria; refine with scrum team
• Provide requirement and design support to scrum team
• Support UI/UX collaboration for interface requirements and design
• Assist in test planning and verification of results
• Foster cross-team collaboration and define acceptance criteria for integrated components
• Adhere to analysis best practices for epics and user stories
• Develop and maintain enterprise policies and standards
