Job summary

Allegion plc in Carmel, IN is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the AME team across North American facilities, driving process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading capital projects on the manufacturing floor.

Hybrid work combines onsite collaboration with remote work options; travel 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience improving manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, or supporting capital equipment projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously, exercising sound judgment.
• Proficiency in problem-solving techniques and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing process improvement initiatives across production lines and facilities.
• Collaborate with PCBA product design teams to apply DFM principles.
• Develop and implement fabrication and assembly processes with automation and digitization improvements.
• Lead or support capital projects from scoping to ramp-up.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturability feedback.
