Job summary
Allegion invites a Summer Intern in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to contribute to process improvement, Lean initiatives, and automation projects in Carmel, Indiana. You will support development, testing, and documentation to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across manufacturing processes.
The role offers hands-on exposure to data analytics, predictive maintenance, and technology standardization, with mentoring and growth opportunities within a global security company that values
Qualifications
- 2nd year or higher in an Engineering/Technology program required or preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts is a plus.
- Interest in data analytics and manufacturing technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives and document activities.
- Support Lean Manufacturing implementation and waste reduction projects.
- Assist in reviewing and designing automation opportunities.
- Support data analytics, AI/predictive models, and floor interface tools.
- Assist with TPM and preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
- Contribute to development and standardization of new technologies in our manufacturing processes.
