Senior Automation Engineer - Carmel, IN (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to lead and support manufacturing excellence initiatives across our global operations. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 implementations within manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal utilization of assets, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing engineering, automation, electronics testing, and process digitization, with proven experience in leading complex projects, integrating new technologies, and influencing organizational transformation. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Ignition, Aveva, Rockwell, and/or data historians is highly advantageous. We are looking for someone with strong intellectual curiosity, a life‑long learner mindset, and a self‑motivated approach to driving continuous improvement and innovation.

“Hybrid Role” and Travel Requirements: The candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Indianapolis metropolitan area. This position requires in‑office presence three days per week when not traveling. The role directly supports factory operations and includes travel to support project implementations and ongoing operational needs.
