Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. in Somerville, MA seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage collections, post receivables, and maintain detailed customer records for US and Canada.

You will conduct credit reviews, resolve delinquent balances, support month-end close, and ensure timely tax remittance. Strong negotiation, reporting, and teamwork are essential; Oracle ERP experience is a plus. Requires BS/BA and 3+ years AR experience.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree.
• 3+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience.
• Strong professional phone and negotiation skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP experience is a plus, but not required.
• Heavy reporting and analyzation skills.
• Must have strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
• Work well under pressure when meeting deadlines.
• Time management and organizational skills; ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and effectively collect outstanding balances from customers and post receivables and credits to the general ledger while maintaining detailed account records for in-depth analysis of customer activity.
• Conduct credit reviews and analysis of current and new vendors.
• Research discrepancies and eliminate obstacles to collecting past due balances.
• Assist in month end closing, reconciliation of accounts receivable, prepare schedules, sales, and accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Maintain the necessary data to accurately bill and remit sales tax to all tax authorities on a timely basis, and ensure tax exemption certificates are current.
• Professionally communicate with customers and work cross departmentally to resolve credit and collection issues.
• Assist in reporting of credit and collection metrics and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Credit and Collections.
