American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for hybrid work, requiring attention to detail and strong communication. You will process invoices, ensure proper approvals, and maintain AP integrity across financial systems.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, 1099 processing, audits, and collaborating with staff and vendors to resolve payment issues. A background in nonprofit finance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using SAP Concur.
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices and payment requests ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Review AP transactions for compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Code and review expense reports per Travel Policy.
• Maintain integrity of AP and financial systems; support month-end/year-end close.
• Assist with audits and annual Form 1099 process.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and errors in AP data.
