Job summary

The Addison Group in Hudson, Wisconsin, a hybrid role, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting department. The role focuses on high-volume AP processing in a PO environment, invoice management, and general accounting support.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Support the accounting team with data entry, reconciliations, and other administrative tasks.
• Assist with additional accounting projects as needed.
