Great American Media is seeking a growth-focused Accounts Payable Specialist for our hybrid Texas headquarters in Arlington. You will manage procure-to-pay processes, PO creation, bill approvals, and monitor payments while maintaining GL integrity and monthly close activities.

The role requires 1 year of AP experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Remote work may be considered for the right candidate, with onsite Tue/Wed/Thu as typical.

Qualifications

• 1 year of accounting and/or accounts payable experience required; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work additional hours during month-end close.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with procure-to-pay processes including PO creation, bill processing and payment monitoring.
• Research and respond to general ledger questions and inquiries.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure proper accounting procedures.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for period-end close.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations.
