Job summary

Sol de Janeiro, a global beauty brand headquartered in New York, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage supplier invoices and payments across NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba. You will ensure accuracy, maintain internal controls, and support broader financial operations within a proactive, global team.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with ERP systems, OCR automation, and month-end close processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with full-cycle AP and internal controls.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA and Ariba integration knowledge.
• ERP transitions and system adoption experience.
• Excel expertise with pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with OCR/invoice automation tools.
• Exposure to month-end close processes.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Independent worker with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier invoices in NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA and SAP CIM (Ariba), ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Manage invoice workflows and perform 3-way matching for POs and receipts.
• Process payment runs (ACH and Wire Transfers) in Coupa weekly.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Partner with Procurement to facilitate supplier onboarding and verification calls.
• Monitor AP inbox and respond to inquiries about invoices, payments, POs.
• Assist with month-end close activities including AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
