Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure timely, accurate payments. The role reports to the AP Supervisor and Collaborates with Procurement, Receiving, and accounting teams to resolve issues and support month-end close.

You will own assigned invoice processing, coordinate with buyers and approvers, and help implement practical process improvements while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• High-volume accounts payable experience with vendor communication.
• Experience with two-way and three-way matching.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good organization and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing of 200–300 invoices per week with verification and coding.
• Perform two-way and three-way matching and resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Resolve missing receipts, billing errors, and approval delays with vendors and internal teams.
• Provide month-end accrual support and reconcile vendor statements and AP records.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to workflow improvements and testing.
• Manage queue by due date, follow up, and close the loop with vendors.
