Job summary

Grant County Public Utility District is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing, payments, and financial records. Under general supervision, you will initiate AP workflows, verify documents, and ensure accuracy in our accounting system.

You will reconcile vendor statements, communicate with internal teams, and help improve processes while upholding district policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field, or 1 extra year of experience.
• Three years of progressively responsible accounting or accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit invoices and payments in the financial system.
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies; lead in invoice processing.
• Support safety and compliance per district policies.
