Job summary

KAHANA & FELD LLP seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team, oversee invoice processing, payments, reconciliations and internal controls for the firm in Buffalo, NY. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounts payable or accounting experience, including experience supervising or leading a team.
• Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable controls, general ledger coding, reconciliations, and expense management.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment and entry to the GL.
• Ensure invoices have proper documentation, approvals, coding, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate payments and vendor inquiries with proper approvals and segregations of duties.
• Oversee vendor setup, tax documentation, and changes to payment instructions.
