Kahana Feld is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the firm’s AP operations, ensure accurate expense coding, timely payments, and robust internal controls. The role leads the AP team and collaborates with attorneys and Finance to support client matters.

The position requires senior AP experience, familiarity with legal accounting systems, and strong analytical, organizational and confidential handling skills. Hybrid work location in New Jersey is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounts payable experience including supervising a team.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP controls, general ledger coding, reconciliations and expense management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment and record retention.
• Review invoices for documentation, proper approvals, accurate coding and policy compliance.
• Coordinate payment runs and vendor inquiries with appropriate approvals and segregation of duties.
• Maintain vendor records and oversee tax documentation and payment instruction changes.
• Reconcile AP records and support month-end/year-end close, accruals, audits and Form 1099.
