Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounts payable or accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP controls, GL coding, reconciliations, and expense management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment and record retention.
• Review invoices for documentation, approvals, coding, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate payment runs and vendor inquiries with proper approvals and segregation of duties.
• Maintain vendor records and AP controls for tax docs and payment instructions.
• Support month-end/year-end close, accruals, audits, and 1099 preparation.
• Supervise and develop AP staff and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with Billing on client/matter expenses and cost recovery.
• Lead process improvements to improve accuracy and processing times.
