Job summary

MRCI is seeking an Accounting Specialist II for the CDS Accounting team in a hybrid role with locations in Mankato or Burnsville. You will work with billing, payroll, and claims processing while supporting month-end activities and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s with 1–2 years in accounting or an Associate’s with 3–5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting software. Confidentiality and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with required accounting/customer service experience.
• Strong Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Excellent data entry and 10-key typing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records and use Excel to analyze data.
• Process billing, payroll, and claims efficiently and accurately.
• Support month-end close activities and provide reporting assistance.
