Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search in Chicago is seeking an Accounting Service Desk Specialist to join in a hybrid capacity. You will be the primary contact for attorneys, billing teams, and clients, researching complex financial questions and ensuring seamless service delivery.

This role emphasizes collaboration with finance professionals and enterprise tools such as Aderant, Chrome River, Kofax, and ServiceNow, all while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced professional

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated accounting or billing experience within a law firm or professional services organization.
• Hands-on proficiency with Aderant legal management software.
• Experience with Chrome River, Kofax, or ServiceNow is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced filters) and Word.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for accounting and billing inquiries from attorneys, billers, and clients.
• Research and resolve complex financial questions and ensure service levels are met.
• Document inquiries and resolutions in the ServiceNow system and email.
• Route out-of-scope issues to appropriate teams while maintaining support.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with firm software.
• Support cross-functional teams with proactive communication and service delivery.
• Collaborate with attorneys and finance teams to optimize processes.
