Job summary

DLA Piper in the United States is seeking an Accounting Service Desk Specialist - PT/CT. The role collaborates across the firm to assess and resolve accounting and billing inquiries from billers, attorneys, and clients, with a focus on accuracy and discretion.

This position supports hybrid work from U.S. office locations, requires at least 2 years of accounting or billing experience in professional services, and familiarity with Aderant, Chromeriver, or Kofax.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2 years’ accounting or billing experience for a law or professional services organization preferred.
• Experience with Aderant is required and Chromeriver, or Kofax is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, resolve, or refer accounting and billing inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with billers, attorneys, clients, and staff.
• Document actions and resolutions in ServiceNow and email records.
• Identify and resolve issues, refer out-of-scope items to the correct resolver group.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with firm policies and regulations.
• Participate in training to achieve proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Continuously improve knowledge and documentation to close knowledge gaps.
• Deliver high-quality service with confidentiality for sensitive financial data.
• Build trust through transparency, reliability, and timely updates to customers.
