Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Accounting Service Desk Specialist (PT/CT) to join our firm in a hybrid US office environment. This role handles accounting and billing inquiries from billers, attorneys, and clients with accuracy, discretion, and strong communication.

You will document actions in ServiceNow, resolve issues within SLA, and collaborate across teams while upholding firm policies. Minimum two years of accounting or billing experience in professional services, and experience with Aderant are

Qualifications

• 2 years accounting or billing experience in a law or professional services firm preferred.
• Experience with Aderant required; Chromeriver or Kofax preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel with filters/pivot, Word with headers/footers).
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assess, resolve, or refer accounting and billing inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with billers, attorneys, clients, and staff.
• Document all actions and resolutions in the ServiceNow ticket system and emails.
• Identify issues, escalate as needed, and ensure timely updates within SLA.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable regulations; participate in training.
