Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant II to join our team in a hybrid role based in Madison, WI. The position supports multiple entities with general ledger reconciliations, invoicing, accounts receivable, cash application and fixed asset management.

The role involves month-end close analysis, variance reviews, leases/prepaids, depreciation, and intercompany activities, with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience in Accounting/Finance.
• 4 years accounting experience required.
• Hybrid role in Madison WI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and post journal entries.
• Maintain and monitor general ledger account reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling differences.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and prepare journal entries and bank transfers.
• Assist with audits and tax requests from external consultants.
• Set up new clients and vendors and ensure accurate updates.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare leases and prepaids schedules and ensure accuracy against agreements.
• Manage depreciation schedules and fixed asset expenditures; track transfers/disposals.
• Review Navitus billing reports for client invoicing; generate invoices and manual billings as needed.
• Monitor daily bank activity; analyze customer accounts for accuracy and past due balances.
• Run unclaimed property reports and ensure state compliance.
• Process ACH payments for clients per terms.
