Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Senior Accountant to lead month-end close activities, intercompany and consolidations, and financial reporting. This role focuses on implementing internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure GAAP compliance across the organization.

The position manages journal entries, enhances accuracy of financial results, and collaborates with enterprise accounting on tax filings and budget processes. Hybrid schedule in Madison, WI will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5 years of Accounting experience required.
• 1 year of experience in Public Accounting or 2 years in a Technical Accounting role in a corporate setting required.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle, required.
• Experience in the Healthcare industry preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, CONCATENATE formulas and pivot tables required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal and board financial statements and distribute to department leaders.
• Prepare and enter journal entries for Navitus entities related to investments, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Review and approve various month-end close entries.
• Perform variance analysis of financial data.
• Collaborate on year-end audit deliverables.
• Collaborate on capital project accounting.
• Oversee fixed asset administration.
• Assist with chart of accounts maintenance across multiple entities.
• Assist with state and federal tax filing requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare all business insurance renewals.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist accounting leadership in preparing annual finance departmental budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
