Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in Madison, WI. The role leads month-end close activities with emphasis on intercompany and consolidations, delivering GAAP-compliant financial reporting and analysis.

The position requires strong ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and healthcare industry familiarity. Hybrid work options are available, with a schedule of 8 am–5 pm CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5 years of Accounting experience required.
• 1 year of Public Accounting or 2 years in a Technical Accounting role in a corporate setting required.
• Experience with Oracle accounting software.
• Experience in the Healthcare industry preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF and CONCATENATE formulas as well as pivot tables required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal and board financial statements.
• Prepare and enter journal entries for Navitus entities related to investments, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Review and approve month-end close entries.
• Perform variance analysis of financial data.
• Collaborate on year-end audit deliverables.
• Collaborate on capital project accounting.
• Oversee fixed asset administration.
• Assist with tax filing requirements and chart of accounts maintenance.
• Coordinate and prepare insurance renewals requirements.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist in annual finance department budget development.
• Other duties as assigned.
