Job summary

Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) in Nashville is seeking a customer service professional to protect and grow revenues from our licensee base. You will handle day-to-day inquiries via email, text, chat and phone while acting as a knowledge lead for related work.

The role involves licensing negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, and outbound outreach to update terms or sell new licenses, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills including ability to listen, write and speak effectively including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to licensees ensuring revenue goals and service levels are met.
• Maintains and administers licensees including managing a caseload of customers and handling inquiries via email, text, chat, and phone.
• Upselling/adding locations on chain accounts when possible.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to meet customer expectations and resolve concerns.
• Contacts customers via outbound dialing to update license terms or sell a new license.
• Assists with verification/research and processing of forms and license fee schedules.
• Performs duties and projects as needed. Regular attendance.
• Supports BMI Core Values and inclusion.
